UF Health Neuroradiology – Jacksonville provides both noninvasive
diagnostic imaging of the brain, spinal cord and surrounding structures, as well
as image-guided interventional procedures on the blood vessels of the brain, spine
and vertebral column that might otherwise require invasive surgical procedures.
Faculty neuroradiologists of the
University of Florida Division of Neuroradiology – Jacksonville work
closely with other members of the UF Health team, including
neuro-ophthalmologists and head and neck specialists
The imaging modalities include magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, computed tomography
(CT), nuclear imaging (including SPECT and PET) and fluoroscopy during either diagnostic
angiographic procedures or catheter/needle-based interventions. The service collaborates
closely with the UF Health Neuroscience Institute.
