Primary care services
We offer primary care for all ages across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, from minor illnesses to preventive health programs.
We follow national SOGI guidelines for intake paperwork and strive to be inclusive and welcoming to all patients, while providing high quality care and addressing the specific health care needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
HIV care services
UF CARES offers the only family-centered medical home model in Northeast Florida for HIV-infected individuals. Our team is dedicated to providing the latest in clinical, educational, research and support services. We provide HIV specialty care services and primary care services to treat and manage all of your health care needs.
LGBTQ Healthcare Equality Leader
UF Health Jacksonville is recognized as an LGBTQ Healthcare Equality Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. In addition, UF Health Jacksonville received the maximum score in each section, noted in their annual Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) report.
The HEI evaluates and scores health care facilities using detailed criteria falling under four central pillars: foundational policies and training in LGBTQ+ patient-centered care; LGBTQ+ patient services and support; employee benefits and policies; and patient and community engagement.
UF Health Jacksonville received the maximum score in each section and earned an overall score of 100.
