Our Campus

UF Health North makes access to high-quality medical care more convenient for residents throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Located in North Jacksonville on Max Leggett Parkway near Interstate 95, the UF Health North campus includes a 92-bed hospital, 24/7 adult and pediatric emergency center, and an outpatient multispecialty medical office building.

UF Health North is the only full-service hospital in North Jacksonville. The facility features all-private rooms, which studies show promote faster recovery and improve the patient experience. Here patients receive comprehensive care from UF Health specialists and surgeons. The hospital provides 12 spacious labor and delivery suites and two dedicated obstetric operating rooms, opening in summer 2017, so mothers-to-be can deliver closer to home.

Medical Office Building

More than 20 specialty services are available at UF Health North’s medical office building, which is staffed by top UF Health and community physicians. Whether a patient is seeking routine well care or more advanced treatments, they can find a specialist here to meet their health care needs. Outpatient lab and diagnostic services are available on-site, as well as advanced imaging, including 3D digital breast tomosynthesis and the region’s first open MRI.

Birth Center

Led by certified nurse midwives, the UF Health Birth Center is a unique addition to the community for mothers who prefer a natural birth experience. The Birth Center differs from the labor and delivery unit by offering a homelike environment for expectant mothers to give birth. It’s the only practice of its kind associated with an academic health center in the region, and is located in the medical office building next door to the hospital.

UF Health North provides access to advanced technology, like the area’s first open MRI, with design features that enhance patient comfort. Natural light, which studies associate with healing, bathes patient care areas and more unexpected places, like the emergency room, radiology department, perioperative units and the outpatient surgical suites. The calming design, influenced by the marshlands of Northeast Florida, includes rooftop green spaces, vistas and interior gardens.
