Biography
Elizabeth Gallo, PA-C, is a physician assistant working with Daryoush Tavanaiepour, M.D., in the department of neurosurgery. She joined the department in 2015. Elizabeth is a native of Pennsylvania and obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology at Haverford College. She went on to pursue a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from DeSales University.
Elizabeth has a clinical special interest in the evaluation and treatment of skull base tumors, in addition to deep brain stimulation surgery for the management of movement disorders. She enjoys working with the multidisciplinary team to offer her patients a comprehensive plan tailored to their needs.
Elizabeth is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Neurosurgical Physician Assistants. Her practice locations include the UF Health Jacksonville downtown and UF Health North campuses. She is fluent in Spanish and French. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her dog and traveling with her family.
