Byron Beall, LCSW, BCBA, offers individual mental health counseling for children and adolescents, ages 4 to 20 years old.
Byron graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Social Work and completed his Master of Social Work at Florida State University. He later continued his online studies, becoming a board-certified behavior analyst. Byron has years of experience working with a wide range of populations, ranging from young children to elderly adults, including children and adults with special needs and mental health issues.
Byron has also worked in diverse settings, ranging from a prison to group homes, schools, hospitals, private practice and homes. He managed a local crisis-stabilization unit, supervising both recreational staff and social workers. He served as a bereavement director with a hospice organization, where he provided grief counseling to adults and children. Byron directed an adolescent mental health program and later became the director of a geriatric program at a Florida state mental health hospital.
Byron is married with five children and resides in Fernandina Beach.
