Nicolle Castillo West, APRN, is a UF Health nurse practitioner. She earned her associate of arts degree from Florida State University and continued her education at Jacksonville University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing, with a focus in family medicine.
Nicolle has more than 15 years of health care experience in family medicine and pediatrics, women’s health, maternal-fetal medicine, labor and delivery, newborn and postpartum care, immigrant medicine and urgent care. She has been practicing as a family nurse practitioner since 2012. Her clinical interests include infant, school and sport physicals, women’s health, lactation consulting, weight loss counseling, skin conditions, healthy mind and body, managing chronic conditions, overall wellness and alternative therapies.
She is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She enjoys volunteering in the community, spending time with family and being a mother of two busy preschoolers. She speaks English and Spanish.
