Joanne L. Carlson, M.D., is a University of Florida assistant professor of pediatrics and is a pediatric hospitalist at UF Health Jacksonville. She received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
