About me
Alan Miller is a retired University of Florida professor of medicine and board-certified cardiologist at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Miller joined the faculty in 1973, becoming one of the region's leading experts on heart failure and helping lead the UF Health Cardiovascular Center to consistent high-performing rankings in U.S. News & World Report for heart failure care. Dr. Miller received his medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and did his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland and at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He did his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Huron Road Hospital and at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital in Cleveland.
