My bio

Chanda Reese MD, FACOG is a University of Florida Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a specialist in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at UF Health Jacksonville. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotically assisted procedures, treatment of abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain.

Dr. Reese received her medical degree from University of Maryland College of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. She then pursued a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stony Brook University Hospital, New York.

Dr Reese has performed thousands of minimally invasive surgical procedures over the course of her career and joined the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Assistant Professor in 2023.

As a surgeon, Dr. Reese’s ultimate goal is to see each woman’s quality of life improve after seeking care. She partners with patients to ensure they have the necessary tools to make an informed decision regarding their health.
