The University of Florida Center for HIV/AIDS Research, Education and Service, or UF CARES, serves as a primary pediatric care provider for children from newborns to adolescents. Services include:

  • Well-baby visits
  • Immunizations
  • Sports physicals
  • Treatments for conditions, such as asthma, colds, ear infections, fevers, flu, nutritional issues, and bumps and bruises

We also provide primary, secondary and tertiary care for HIV-exposed and infected children and adolescents. Our doctors are trained in general pediatrics with additional specialization in infectious diseases. The center provides medical case management, health education, mental health and nutrition counseling to meet our patients’ needs.
