Neurology: Services

UF Health Neurology at Jacksonville is part of a multidisciplinary team covering a spectrum of neurological patient care programs. The department offers evaluation and treatment for:

  • Epilepsy
  • Movement disorders, including Parkinson's and other neurodegenerative diseases, dystonias (torticollis, hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm, focal dystonia), tremors, Huntington's Chorea, tic disorders and psychogenic movements
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Neuromuscular disease, including facial and other cranial nerve palsies, Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS), nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome, myasthenia gravis, peripheral neuropathies, neck and low back disease, and muscle disorders
  • Sleep disorders
  • Stroke

In addition, the department houses a neuropsychology program, which assists in administering and interpreting brain structure and function testing.
