Pregnancy and Delivery: Little Miracles

Give your baby the best start possible by joining the UF Health Jacksonville Little Miracles Program as soon as you find out you are pregnant. Mothers-to-be who participate in this program receive all the benefits of our physicians and hospital, but they also receive additional program perks. These include:

  • Prenatal education
  • Insurance assistance
  • Access to a 24-hour on-call nurse hotline and direct physician line
  • Enrollment in an incentive-based rewards program with monthly drawings
  • Quarterly baby showers

Upon delivery, participants are given a diaper bag filled with baby care essentials, as well as their choice of a candlelight dinner for two, an infant car seat or other special gifts. The incentive-based rewards program also enters them into a grand prize drawing the month of their delivery for strollers, car seats, bassinettes and other baby necessities This is just our way of thanking you for your participation and congratulating you on your new bundle of joy.

The Little Miracles Program began in 2000, to improve the incidence of infant mortality and outcomes in Jacksonville and to encourage prenatal care. The program also hosts three city-wide baby showers a year in the Learning Resource Center Atrium, located at UF Health Jacksonville. Attendees benefit from free health screenings, wellness tips, shopping with baby vendors and entering to win a number of baby related giveaways and grand prize drawings.
