The Nursing Research Annual Symposium is a dynamic platform designed to celebrate and foster advancements in nursing education, practice, research, and innovation. By uniting nursing professionals, researchers, educators, and stakeholders, the symposium aims to cultivate collaboration, share best practices, and inspire excellence in patient care.

Symposium Objectives:

As a result of participation in this symposium, participants will be able to:

• Gain a clear understanding of the distinctions between nursing research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement, recognizing the vital role of innovative approaches in nursing research
• Facilitate academic-practice collaboration among nurses in various roles, including those in practice, nurse educators, and nurse administrators. By fostering collaboration, attendees can harness collective expertise to address complex healthcare challenges
• Understand implementation and dissemination of nurse-led research findings. Through presentations and discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge research in nursing and its implications for clinical practice and patient outcomes
• Understand nursing research infrastructure at UF Health Jacksonville and acquire essential knowledge and resources to actively engage in nursing research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives. This understanding will empower nurses to contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and effectiveness of healthcare delivery at UF Health Jacksonville
