Joseph to serve on national patient safety task force

Madeline M. Joseph, M.D., an emergency medicine professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville has been appointed to a national committee on patient safety.
Joseph is now serving on the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Patient Safety Task Force. The task force will advise ACEP staff and assist with the development of a delivery of patient safety continuing medical education courses for emergency physicians across the country.
Joseph, chief of the division of pediatric emergency medicine, is one of seven physicians on the task force and will provide guidance on pediatric safety issues.
