Published: September 2, 2019

Update (Wednesday, Sept. 4, 4:42 p.m.):

Most UF Health practices in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia will resume standard operational hours tomorrow. Practices unable to open due to storm-related issues will be contacting patients to reschedule.

Because of the potential impact from Hurricane Dorian, UF Health will be making the following changes to its clinical operations:

Tuesday, Sept. 3
Outpatient practices at UF Health Jacksonville (West 8th Street campus), UF Health North and all UF Health Oncology locations will remain open during normal business hours. All other UF Health outpatient practices in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, including UF Health Emerson Medical Plaza, will be closed. Elective surgeries at UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health North will proceed as scheduled.

Wednesday, Sept. 4
All outpatient practices will be closed. This includes outpatient and rehabilitation services at UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health Emerson Medical Plaza and UF Health North. Elective surgeries will be rescheduled.

Staff is in the process of notifying patients and rescheduling appointments.

UF Health is well prepared to care for patients, physicians, nurses and other staff who will be working during the storm.
