Each day, as many as 500 American women are diagnosed with breast cancer. But because of the advancements made in early detection and diagnosis, the majority of women live five years or longer.

The UF Health Breast Center – Jacksonville offers advanced screening, diagnostic care, education and treatment in a warm, welcoming environment. University of Florida physicians at the Breast Center provide a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to comprehensive care, from annual mammograms to a wide array of advanced treatment options. They specialize in high-risk assessments and provide consulting and monitoring for patients at risk for breast cancer.

Throughout the process, your breast health team provides information and support, as well as a second opinion service to review original pathology slides or mammography films. Our team helps patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options to ensure they are making the best possible decisions for their care.
