Electrolyte imbalance
Conditions of elevated or low blood electrolytes — such as sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium or phosphorus — may severely affect your quality of life. Abnormal electrolyte levels in the blood can cause a variety of problems, including abnormal functioning of nerve and muscle tissue to kidney stones.
Physicians at UF Health Endocrinology are uniquely trained to evaluate and treat these problems, as well as a variety of disorders that cause changes in the amount of acid/base in the bloodstream, or pH.
