When you are faced with structural heart or valve disease, it is important to make sure the diagnosis and its treatment plan are correct. An expert second opinion may result in reassurance and peace of mind or major changes to your diagnosis. Additionally, you may be a candidate for alternative, often less invasive, treatments not available elsewhere.

Structural heart and valvular diseases are complex and with so many different types, it takes an expert team to provide an accurate diagnosis. As part of an academic health center, the UF Health structural heart and valvular disease physicians are highly trained and specialized in recognizing every type of heart issue.
