My bio
David Skarupa, M.D., FACS, FCCM, is a University of Florida associate professor of surgery and a board-certified acute care surgeon at UF Health Jacksonville. He also serves as associate chief medical officer for UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Skarupa received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his medical residency in surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, as well as a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Maryland Medical Center - R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
