My bio
Irtiza Hasan, M.D., is a University of Florida Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Nephrologist at UF Health-Jacksonville. Dr. Hasan received his medical degree from Ibrahim Medical College in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed training at BIRDEM/Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh, and later at the University of Edinburgh, U.K. He also completed MRCP (U.K.) and MSc. in Cardiology from Canterbury Christ Church University. Following his Internal Medicine, he was involved in Postdoctoral training/research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Later he completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.
