Lauren Hassan Nelson D.O., is a University of Florida Assistant Professor of medicine and a board-certified endocrinologist at UF Health Jacksonville. Dr. Hassan Nelson received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida and then completed her internal medicine residency at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida.
