  14. all good

  15. Dr. Ilyas was extremely knowledgeable, had a wonderful approach, and showed genuine concern for my child. He took the time to educate my daughter on her family history of Alports which she is not diagnosed with at this date. I wish all physicians were as wonderful!

  16. physician had no regards to how he was making the child feel when discussing his weight. yet kept going on and on about his weight.

  17. Dr. Ilyas communicates well with us as parents but also has a great bedside manner with my son. I can tell he's spending time digesting there medical facts in reviewing recent labs. He also really considers the care of other providers.

  18. Overall I was extremely disappointed in the Dr that we saw on 10/31. He immediately informed me that my child's BP problem was because she was overweight. Even pointed out the few stretch marks she had to confirm that was the problem. However her previous appt with the cardiologist advised it was not weight related. When I told the Dr on 10/31 that she had lost over 40 lbs and didn't have BP problems until after the weight loss his response was "Everyone is different, when you're bigger you have high BP" That completely went against his statement of why her BP is high. He finally, after me not agreeing, said he would send us for blood work. I plan on having the blood work done but finding another nephrologist to see for my childs treatment. Not only now is my daughter stressed about her blood pressure but not is even more stressed thinking that the 40lbs she has lost isn't enough and she is overweight. We have a follow up in December however I will not take my child to see this Dr again.
