My bio
Saran Wells, M.B.B.S. (M.D.), obtained her medical degree from the University of the West Indies. After practicing medicine in Trinidad for six years, Dr. Wells came to the U.S. and completed a pediatric residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York. She moved to Jacksonville for a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases. She holds two board-certifications — general pediatrics and infectious diseases. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Wells enjoys primary care because it allows her to be instrumental in the maintenance of good health for all patients. Her greatest joy as a pediatrician is watching patients, many of whom she met days after birth, grow and develop into healthy adults.
