Shalinkumar P. Patel, M.D., M.P.H., is a University of Florida assistant professor of pediatrics and a board-certified neonatologist at UF Health Jacksonville. He received his medical degree from C.U. Shah Medical College in Surendranagar, India, and a Master's of Public Health from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee.
