Infectious Disease

UF Health Infectious Disease – Jacksonville specializes in the consultative diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of infectious and communicable diseases, including sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis.

We provide inpatient and infection control services at UF Health Jacksonville. Our physicians are involved in clinical research directed at improving the knowledge and therapy of infectious diseases. In addition, we actively participate in the training of medicine residents and infectious disease fellows.

Our health care team collaborates with the Duval County Health Department Infectious and Communicable Diseases Service to provide consultation in the areas of epidemiology and bioterrorism.
