National HIV Testing Day is observed annually on June 27 to encourage people to get tested for HIV, know their status, and get connected to care and treatment.

Our accomplished infectious disease physicians have a wealth of experience. They are involved in clinical research directed at improving the knowledge and therapy of infectious diseases. These specialists also collaborate with the Duval County Health Department Infectious and Communicable Diseases Service to provide consultation in the areas of epidemiology and bioterrorism.
In addition, as experts in their field, the physicians also actively participate in the training of medicine residents and infectious disease fellows.
