If you're faced with a diagnosis of diseases of the vasculature of the brain and spinal cord, including brain aneurysm, it’s important to make sure the diagnosis is correct. Studies have shown that, in some cases, a second opinion results in major changes to diagnosis or treatment. So having a second physician agree with your first doctor or find something that was missed or misinterpreted the first time can provide peace of mind when faced with a number of treatment options.

Cerebrovascular issues are complex and with so many different types, it takes an expert to provide an accurate diagnosis. As part of an academic health center, UF Health Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery program physicians are highly trained and specialized in recognizing every type of vascular issue of the brain and spine.

Please call 904-383-1022 or email cvneurosurgery@jax.ufl.edu or to request an appointment for a second opinion.
