If you’re faced with a diagnosis of a skull base tumor, it’s important to make sure the diagnosis is correct. Studies have shown that, in some cases, a second opinion results in major changes to diagnosis or treatment. So having a second physician agree with your first doctor or find something that was missed or misinterpreted the first time can provide peace of mind when faced with a number of treatment options.
