My bio
Asad A. Tolaymat, M.D., is a University of Florida pediatric nephrologist at the UF Health Pediatric Multispecialty Center – Prudential Drive in Jacksonville. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. Dr. Tolaymat began working with UF as an adjunct assistant professor in 1975, eventually being promoted to tenured professor in 1994 and serving as chief of the division of pediatric nephrology and rheumatology in the UF Department of Pediatrics – Jacksonville from 1988 to 2020. Dr. Tolaymat received his medical degree from Damascus University in Damascus, Syria. He completed his pediatrics residency as well as a pediatric nephrology fellowship at Jacksonville Health Education Programs in Jacksonville, Florida.
