Jose R. Rivas Rios, M.D., is a University of Florida assistant professor of medicine and a cardiologist at UF Health in Jacksonville. Dr. Rivas Rios received his medical degree from the University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. He specializes in general and preventive cardiology, cardiometabolic disorders and cardiac imaging.
