My bio
Mobeen Rathore, M.D., is the founding director of the University of Florida Center for HIV/AIDS Research, Education and Service (UF CARES); a professor and associate chair in the Department of Pediatrics – Jacksonville; and chief of the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. He is chief of infectious diseases and immunology and a hospital epidemiologist for Wolfson Children's Hospital and co-chair of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee in the Baptist Health System. He is also the statewide HIV consultant for the Children's Medical Services of the Florida Department of Health.
He is a prolific investigator who has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health for more than 27 years. He has received many teaching awards.
He is the former president of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Duval County Medical Society and Leadership Jacksonville and board member of HIV Medicine Association, Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and Florida Medical Association.
