About me
Ramon Bautista, M.D., M.B.A., is a University of Florida professor of neurology and a neurologist at the UF Health Neuroscience Institute in Jacksonville specializing in clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy and electroencephalography. He also serves as the Phyllis Sohn Endowed Chair in Neuroscience over the UF Department of Neurology – Jacksonville, as well as medical director of the UF Health Epilepsy Care Center.
Dr. Bautista received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines. He completed residency training in neurology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed fellowships in clinical neurophysiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and in epilepsy at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Bautista is board-certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
