The University of Florida Center for HIV/AIDS Research, Education and Service (UF CARES) is the only comprehensive pediatric and family-focused HIV and AIDS program in Northeast Florida and South Georgia. We provide primary, secondary and tertiary care for HIV-exposed and infected individuals and families. In addition to basic medical care, the center provides medical case management, pharmacy services, health education, nutrition and mental health counseling. Our doctors are trained in general pediatrics and internal medicine with additional specialization in infectious diseases and women’s health. We also have a full-time psychologist and part-time psychiatrist and gynecologist who provide specialty services.
