UF Health primary care sports medicine physicians (PCSM) are certified to care for the unique needs of injured athletes of all ages, with a focus on preventive measures, diagnosis, nonsurgical treatments and management of sports-related injuries.

Primary care sports medicine specialists also develop personalized treatment plans to help every patient get back on their feet and back in the game. Our physicians use evidence-based medicine and incorporate these concepts into all facets of the evaluation and treatment of each patient. In addition to individual patients, our physicians provide medical care for local sports organizations.
