Getting Started: Student Volunteer Program

The 2020 Summer Student Volunteer program has been cancelled as we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, all volunteer services on our campuses has been paused indefinitely to limit the number of people at our hospitals.

Thank you for your understanding. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Homeschool Student Volunteer Program

The HSV program runs year around with the exception of the summer months each year. To qualify for the program, you must be at least 16-17 years of age, be a student who is home schooled and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be able to commit to 80 hours of service. Limited space is available, not all qualified applicants are accepted. Students who are a part of this program can apply anytime and be available to serve during the months of September – May. They must volunteer during the daytime hours of Monday – Friday, typically a four hour shift each week. For more information on this program and how to apply, contact Tina Wrye at or 904-244-4232. There will be opportunities to serve at the downtown campus and the north campus.
