Nursing plays vital role at UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health North. In honor of Nurses Week 2020 and the Year of the Nurse, we want to recognize the continued dedication and commitment to excellence by all of our nurses and the many multidisciplinary teams across the hospital, who work together to provide excellent patient care.
Judith Villamor, BSN, a nurse in the transitional care unit, considers it a great privilege to work at the same hospital as her daughter. Alyssa Villamor, BSN, a nurse in the medical intensive care unit, started as a UF Health volunteer in high school. She followed in the footsteps of Judith and completed nursing school herself.
