Musculoskeletal Radiology

The UF Health Musculoskeletal Radiology team in Jacksonville, Florida, works closely with musculoskeletal specialists including orthopaedic surgeons, endocrinologists, neurologists and rheumatologists to diagnose and treat conditions of the spine and extremities. Staffed by fellowship-trained University of Florida faculty radiologists, we provide diagnostic imaging of the bones, joints and muscles. Available imaging modalities include plain film examinations, magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, dual-energy computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and fluoroscopy during diagnostic contrast injections into joints or pain relief injections. We also perform bone and soft-tissue biopsies and joint aspirations.
