Wendy Ashby, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with an expertise in nonsurgical cosmetic procedures and various surgical specialty procedures. For the last 16 years, she has worked in plastic surgery, including 14 years with UF Health Jacksonville.
Wendy enjoys providing continuity of care to surgical patients, as she sees them during the consultation visit with the plastic surgeon, in the operating room and during the post-operative phase. For her nonsurgical patients, Wendy has a passion for making skin beautiful through cosmetic procedures to relax wrinkles, restore facial volume and laser treatments to improve skin appearance.
Wendy earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bob Jones University and a second bachelor’s degree from the surgical physician assistant program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2002, she obtained her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska.
When she is not working, Wendy enjoys playing tennis, stand-up paddle boarding and taking long walks with her husband and their dog, Clyde.
