Cancer
The UF Health Cancer Center in Northeast Florida comprises multidisciplinary teams of University of Florida surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and other cancer specialists, working together to use the latest diagnostic and therapeutic innovations.
In addition to offering standard cancer treatment options, the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute on the UF Health Jacksonville campus offers patients advanced treatment with minimal side effects for certain cancers.
We provide comprehensive treatment plans for all types of cancers — from common to the very rare — and are involved in numerous clinical trials, enabling us to offer more options to improve outcomes.
Our team provides you with a safe place to ask questions or share concerns. UF Health Jacksonville also offers support groups and classes for cancer patients and caregivers.

Clinical Trials: Cancer
UF Health research scientists make medicine better every day. They discover new ways to help people by running clinical trials. When you join a clinical trial, you can get advanced medical care. Sometimes years before it's available everywhere. You can also help make medicine better for everyone else. If you'd like to learn more about clinical trials, visit our clinical trials page.
