The UF Health Cancer Center in Northeast Florida comprises multidisciplinary teams of University of Florida surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and other cancer specialists, working together to use the latest diagnostic and therapeutic innovations.

In addition to offering standard cancer treatment options, the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute on the UF Health Jacksonville campus offers patients advanced treatment with minimal side effects for certain cancers.

We provide comprehensive treatment plans for all types of cancers — from common to the very rare — and are involved in numerous clinical trials, enabling us to offer more options to improve outcomes.

Our team provides you with a safe place to ask questions or share concerns. UF Health Jacksonville also offers support groups and classes for cancer patients and caregivers.

Community and Patient Programs: Cancer

Our community and patient programs provide great value to patients, families and loved ones. People can find support, educational materials, expert consultants and more. In most instances, these programs are offered free of charge.

  • Breast Cancer Support Group

    Connect with others who understand the challenges of living with breast cancer. Our caring team will navigate discussions and activities to enhance overall wellness, and provide a safe place to ask questions and share concerns.

  • Community Cancer Screening

    Are you concerned about your risk for breast, skin and/or lung cancer? We encourage you to take advantage of this FREE event with resources by local physicians and health care providers.

  • Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer

    Meeting the emotional, physical and humanistic needs of oral and head and neck cancer patients and their caregivers.
