Biography
Noel Roman, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and mental health counselor with more than 25 years of experience. He specializes in multicultural and veterans counseling and has worked as a case manager and mental health counselor in U.S., Hawaii, Europe and Iraq.
He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in counseling psychology, with a concentration in marriage and family counseling from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and a master’s degree in social work from Kansas University.
Noel practices a strengths-based model of bilingual and biocultural therapy, focusing on an individual’s inner strengths and self-determination. He specializes in counseling individuals and families with anxiety, bereavement, depression, family related issues, mood, opioid risk assessments, psychotic and substance use disorders, PTSD and trauma.
When he’s not working, Noel enjoys spending time with family, playing basketball and golf, gardening, surfing, swimming and working out.
