Alaina Stanley, LMHC

Alaina Stanley, LMHC, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor who believes that we should never stop learning, no matter how old we are. She has more than five years of experience and believes in reducing mental health stigma. She received a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from University of North Florida.

Alaina specializes in treating anxiety, depression, self-worth and coming-of-age issues. She believes in connecting the physical responses to the emotional trigger, which allows the patient to stay in control of how they respond to the trigger. She believes that no matter how young or old, everyone has the right to experience their feelings, big and small.

Alaina is a friendly and thought-provoking therapist who uses several approaches to treatment, including cognitive behavioral therapy, brief/solution focused therapy and rational emotive behavioral therapy. She also believes in collaborating with the family and patient for an optimal outcome.

Alaina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling internationally, especially to the Caribbean, and reading. She is a true crime fanatic, including podcasts, books and documentaries.
