About the Department

The education of Doctor of Pharmacy APPE and IPPE students and the training of first-year pharmacy residents and second-year ambulatory care, critical care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases and pain management residents are also the responsibility of these practitioners.

The department is also committed to clinical drug research activities. The Division of Clinical Research and the Research Committee help to foster this commitment.

Many practitioners are actively involved in hospital committees and activities. Their expertise is tapped to serve not only their patients, but the hospital and community as a whole.
