Adedeji Adeyiga, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Deji Adeyiga was born in Greensboro, NC and moved to Coatesville, PA in 2003. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. His professional interests include emergency medicine, pediatrics, and critical care. His research project this year will evaluate the initiative to describe inappropriate medications in the ED for older adults who present after a fall. In his free time, Deji enjoys watching movies, cooking, trying new food spots, and spending time with friends and family.

Skyler Booths, Pharm.D.

PGY2 Ambulatory Care Resident

Skyler Booths is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Wingate University School of Pharmacy in North Carolina in 2023 and completed her PGY1 at the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System in Temple, Texas in 2024. Her current professional interests include diabetes and cardiology. Her resident research project this year will be assessing patient safety outcomes for JAK inhibitors at an academic medical center. In her free time, Skyler enjoys going to the beach, swimming, running, playing tennis, reading fantasy or romance novels, and spending time with friends and family.

Lindsay Bourn, PharmD

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Lindsay Bourn is from Greensboro, NC. She completed her undergraduate studies at High Point University in High Point, NC, and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from their school of pharmacy in 2024. Her main current professional interest is internal medicine, but she remains open to exploring other specialties. Her resident research project this year is evaluating the use of once daily enoxaparin versus rivaroxaban for VTE prophylaxis in medical patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, binge-watching TV shows, and trying out new restaurants in the area.

Taylor Bunn, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Taylor Bunn is from Jacksonville, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2019, and graduated cum laude from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Jacksonville Campus in 2024. Taylor’s professional interest is Pain Management and she plans to pursue a PGY2 in this field. Her research project this year evaluates patients' choice in pain medications. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking her dog, trying new Jacksonville restaurants, and traveling.

Astrid Candelaria-Jiménez

PGY1-Pharmacy Resident

Astrid Candelaria-Jiménez is originally from Manatí, Puerto Rico. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She then received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy in 2024, also graduating summa cum laude. Astrid’s professional interest is ambulatory care and she plans to pursue a PGY2 in this field. Her resident research project this year involves assessing the impact of the “meds-to-bed” program on hospital readmissions at UF Health Jacksonville. In her free time, Astrid enjoys reading, working out, trying new places to eat, and spending time with her friends and family.

Won Lee, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Won Lee is from Mounds View, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from University of North Florida and went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. His professional interests are in emergency medicine and critical care and he would like to pursue PGY-2 next year. His research project is evaluating risk factors for developing hypoglycemia in hospitalized patients. In his free time, Won enjoys trying new food, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.

Jessica Oglesby, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Jessica Oglesby is from Pensacola, Florida. She attended undergrad at the University of West Florida and went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Jacksonville campus in 2024. She has broad professional interests and is intrigued by numerous practice areas. Her resident research project this year involves evaluating rates of hypoglycemia after insulin sliding scale order parameter adjustment. In her free time, Jessica enjoys gardening, baking, traveling, and spending time with family.

Maggie Prosser, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Maggie Prosser is from Lake City, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of South Carolina. She then graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy with her Doctorate of Pharmacy. Her current professional interests include infectious diseases and pediatric infectious diseases. Her research project this year is focusing on the accuracy of MRSA nares in below-the-knee skin and soft tissue infections. In her free time, Maggie enjoys the beach, reading, watching formula one, and Disney.

Blair Reece, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Blair Reece is from Orange Park, Florida. She developed a passion for pharmacy early on, which led her to complete her undergraduate course work at St. Johns River State College before graduating cum laude from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Jacksonville Campus. Blair’s professional interests include infectious disease and ambulatory care. Her resident research project will compare the use of ceftriaxone monotherapy vs cefazolin plus gentamicin for Gustilo-Anderson grade 3 open fractures. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, playing with her dog Ridley, reading books by the pool, and watching Florida Gator sports, particularly football and gymnastics.

Sara Roach, Pharm.D.

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident

Sara Roach is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of New Mexico, and went on to graduate from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in 2024. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and academia. Her research project this year will evaluate the influence of cardiac dysfunction on vasopressin response in septic shock. In her free time, Sara enjoys collecting LEGO sets, reading, and watching baseball.

Dionna Shine, Pharm.D

PGY1 Resident

Dionna Shine is from Jacksonville, Florida. She received her associate’s degree at the University of Florida in 2020 and then graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy (Jacksonville Campus) in 2024. Dionna’s professional interests include ambulatory care and infectious disease. Her research project this year focuses on clinical outcomes in patients with Achromobacter spp and bloodstream and respiratory infections. In her free time, Dionna likes going to anime conventions, watching true crime podcast, and binging horror movies.

Allison Shaunak, Pharm.D.

PGY2 Critical Care Resident

Allison Shaunak is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in Food Science. She then graduated cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. Allison’s professional interests include academia and critical care. Her resident research project is evaluating the complications of vasopressor administration through peripheral versus central lines. In her free time, Allison enjoys playing recreational league beach volleyball, listening to audiobooks, and walking her dachshunds.

Tanner Smith, Pharm.D.

PGY2 Emergency Medicine Resident

Tanner Smith is from Clermont, Florida. He attended undergrad at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. He then graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Orlando campus in 2023 and completed his PGY1 pharmacy residency at UF Health Jacksonville. Tanner’s professional interests within emergency medicine include resuscitation, trauma, toxicology, and pediatrics. His resident research project this year examines the impact of intravenous phenobarbital loading doses in patients with moderate to severe alcohol withdrawal. Outside of the pharmacy, Tanner enjoys staying active by running, biking, going to the gym, or traveling.

Caroline Terrell, Pharm.D.

PGY2 Infectious Diseases Resident

Caroline Terrell is from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama and went on to graduate with highest honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy (Nashville Campus) and completed her PGY1 residency training at UF Health Jacksonville. Caroline’s professional interests include critical care and cardiology. Her resident research project this year involves evaluating treatment failure with third generation with cephalosporins and AmpC production in Serratia marcescens compared to high risk AmpC producing organisms. In her free time, Caroline enjoys boating and going to the sandbar, offshore fishing, biking on the beach, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide!

Satya Yaramati, Pharm.D., MHIIM

PGY2 Pain Management and Palliative Care Resident

Satya Yaramati is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy while simultaneously completing her Master in Health Informatics and Information Management degree. She then went on to complete her PGY1 residency training at UF Health Jacksonville. Satya’s professional interests include pain management and opioid stewardship. Her research project this year involves evaluating the prevalence of and risk factors associated with QTc interval prolongation in patients receiving treatment with methadone. In her free time, Satya enjoys writing poems, trying new recipes, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
