The patient care mission of the UF Health Jacksonville Department of Pharmacy is to optimize patient care through advocacy, education and innovation.

The department's Division of Inpatient Practice directs all inpatient pharmacy patient care services at UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health North.

The Division of Ambulatory Practice manages the UF Health Jacksonville Ambulatory Pharmacy and UF Health Jacksonville Specialty Pharmacy. It is located on the first floor of the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) and is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. (904) 244-4020

The Division of Therapeutic Policy oversees all medication use safety and policy for both campuses. Pharmacists work in specialized roles including Medication Use Safety and Policy, Informatics, Clinical Research, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Pain Management Stewardship.
